CorePlayer is a video player. Despite being a project that has become obsolete, it is the fastest player ever found for LG LAN5020EHTL infotainment systems installed in 2015-2017 Hyundai Tucson in Europe, KIA Sportage 2016, Vera and Sorento. This application was only functional with Menavrus but after a few weeks of analysis I was able to make it work. In addition, I have developed a launcher that allows integrating the player with the rest of the native device's software, which makes it unnecessary to exit to Windows killing the applications to run CorePlayer. On the other hand, it is possible to view the video in full screen or display it in a small window on the maps screen.

The automatic execution will work in those official software versions supported by BootLoader.
This application is not compatible with Menavrus. Menavrus provides CorePlayer and will only work if it is executed from its own menu. So it's the one who takes control of all the behavior of CorePlayer until it's closed. Therefore, I have developed this integration for all those who do not have Menavrus installed.
For the automatic execution of CorePlayer, it uses BootLoader, a powerful tool that allows the automatic execution of applications among other functions. I am not responsible for the consequences arising from the improper use of this utility.
No it doesn't. Although enabling CorePlayer and integrating it with the native software has taken almost three months of analysis and development, I've decided to release this project at no cost. You can read about the analysis and problems encountered throughout the process in this post

Download BootLoader and CorePlayer and unzip them in an empty SD. Make sure that in the root directory of the SD the files are seen as in the image on the right.
In the vehicle, insert the SD. The computer will reboot and run BootLoader. If there is only one program configured, BootLoader will not appear on the screen but will automatically run the video player.
The project consists of two applications. Player.exe is the video player. CorePlayer.exe is the launcher that executes and controls that the player remains integrated, allowing simultaneously to re-execute CorePlayer manually from device's native player. BootLoader runs launcher and it does the rest. Once CorePlayer is executed, it will be shown with the interface of each vehicle. That is, with the appearance of Hyundai or KIA software respectively.
The player interface is simple, showing the playback controls under the video. If you click on the video it alternates to full screen.
Once the videos to be played have been selected, it is possible to pass from one video to another, by using the controls that appear on the screen or the physical buttons of both the device and the steering wheel. Note that for the forward or backward actions to work, it is necessary that there be at least 3 mp3 files recognized by the device on the pendrive.
If RADIO physical button is pressed, CorePlayer will close automatically. Once CorePlayer closes either automatically or manually, a button on the media player screen (MEDIA button) will allow you to rerun CorePlayer at any time. If that button is pressed during 3 seconds, CorePlayer launcher will close completely.
If the physical button MAPS is pressed, CorePlayer will be displayed in a small window in the upper right area of the screen, being able to hide it or move it freely to any other point of the screen. The position in which the player's window is placed on the screen will be saved along with the CorePlayer configuration in the path \MMCMemory\Storage card\CorePlayer\
In any other unrecognizable screen or when the reverse gear is engaged and the rear camera is displayed, the video player will be hidden (keeping playback in the background) to allow interaction with the rest of the software. At this point, it is possible to show CorePlayer again by pressing the MEDIA or MAPS button. In the case of reverse gear, once you exit that gear, CorePlayer will be displayed again.
